Don't worry, they're not ours. Recently a few podcasts have emerged that we here at the Bent Axle have been listening to religiously. Now that going to church can kill you (thanks, coronavirus), maybe you should listen to these religiously too.

I should stop to say that neither of these podcasts are affiliated with the Bent Axle. They might not even like us. We like them though, and have our own website, so using that podium, we're going to promote them whether they like it or not.

The first up is Behind the Axle

You may ask, well BA, they're name is awfully similar to yours, did you steal it? No, Karen, we didn't, Bent Axle existed like a year before them, you just never visited us. Okay, okay, deep breaths. Karen, I love you, please don't leave me again.

Behind the Axle is a podcast thrown together by a few people from around the wheelchair rugby community, including two current USQRA board members *looks around, suspiciously*

They talk about straight up wheelchair rugby stuff, which is great. They've also got some cheeky episode names, which helps ease the depression of so few episodes.

Next up, My Crippled Friend

No, my crippled friend, not your crippled friend. Now is the right time for this kind of selfishness. I'm lazy, so I shall refer to them as MCF from this point on.

While MCF isn't technically about wheelchair rugby, at least half of the episodes feature someone directly involved in the sport and, let's say, 64% is about wheelchair rugby.

These mostly 1-on-1 interviews, hosted by wheelchair rugby player Tim Vixay, dive deep into stuff related to living life in the "wait, I can't do stairs" lane. There's a lot of good stuff in there, and plenty of episodes to keep you occupied for a while.

To make it as easy as possible to get your wheelchair-rugby-podcast-fix, visit our all new Podcasts page, or check out Behind the Axle and My Crippled Friend directly.

Alright, what are your thoughts? Let BA know by commenting below, you can head over to our forum, or yell at us on Twitter or Facebook ,

Have an idea for an article you want to see? Send it our way.

Don't forget to share this article for your wheelchair rugby starved friends, who are also bored at home right now.
